Re-branding

It’s been a while since I posted, and a lot has been going on, most of which I won’t bore you with here.

The short version is this; I’ve finally accepted that just painting is never going to be enough for me. I have too many ideas for other things I’d like to make, and discovering how much I love making things with polymer clay was the final proof to me that I needed to expand my horizons.

So I’ve been re-branding this morning, as they say. At Etsy you’ll now find me as @LindsayMadeIt. I’m really excited by this change, because I feel free to do pretty much anything creative under that name, and also, it feels so much less “art snob” like. I’m not a professional artist, nor do I have any desire to be. I just want to make things I like, have fun doing it, and perhaps make other people happy too.

I’ll include some pictures below of recent creations 🙂

Fridge magnets, both about 5cm tall, for friends in Canada. Polymer clay and acrylic paint.
Portrait of Alberto from Sketchy. I really wanted to capture that “uplighting”. Pen and watercolour.
An arcade cabinet pendant, about 7cm tall. A tribute to my “mis-spent” youth (I don’t believe that for a moment). Polymer clay and acrylic paint. Extra life if you recognise the game!
